Automotive and tech blog SlashGear has rounded up what it calls the 10 most iconic Porsche cars in movie history. Predictably, topping the list is the gold-painted Porsche 928 from Risky Business, famously driven by Tom Cruise and later auctioned for $1.9 million.

Here are the other standout Porsche cars that made the cut, each with a note from the editors:

  • Porsche 917 – Le Mans: Steve McQueen’s legendary race car, a flat-12 beast that helped define endurance racing on film

  • Porsche 911 SC Cabriolet – Against All Odds: Jeff Bridges races through LA traffic in this sleek red convertible

  • Porsche 924 – Arthur: Dudley Moore’s drunken playboy character takes laps in this race-ready coupe

  • Porsche 928 – Scarface: Al Pacino’s Tony Montana flirts and flexes in a Porsche dealership scene

  • Porsche 911 fleet – Condorman: A team of Soviet assassins chases down the hero in black 911s, including a rare 935 Flachbau

  • Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6 – Bad Boys: Will Smith’s ride in high-speed chases, a rear-wheel-drive icon

  • Porsche 911 Carrera 4S – Bad Boys for Life: The updated blue Carrera keeps the Miami heat alive

  • Porsche 911 GT3 RS (replica) – Fast Five: Paul Walker’s character drives a disguised Carrera 2 made to look like a GT3 RS

  • Porsche Carrera GTS – Red 2: Bruce Willis tears through Europe in this black beauty

Each car, whether a race legend or a street cruiser, played more than just a supporting role—they helped define the vibe, the character, and the cool factor of their respective films.

What do you think? Did your favorite make the list?
