Porsche is reintroducing the 911 Carrera S, which fills the space between the standard 911 Carrera and the more performance-focused 911 Carrera GTS T-Hybrid. The powertrain has seen substantial enhancements, reaching performance metrics that were once exclusive to the previous generation's 911 Carrera GTS. Additionally, it boasts a broader array of standard features and a significantly expanded range of customization options compared to the 911 Carrera, making it a compelling addition to the Carrera lineup. This sports car is available in both Coupé and Cabriolet styles.

The legendary 3.0-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder boxer engine has undergone major enhancements for the new 911 Carrera S. This upgrade results in a notable boost in power while simultaneously reducing emissions. With an impressive output of 473 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque, this marks an increase of 29 hp over its predecessor. To achieve this enhanced performance and efficiency, Porsche has incorporated new turbochargers and made significant optimizations to the charge-air cooling system, among other improvements. The design of the new sports car draws inspiration from the previous generation’s 911 Turbo models. The Carrera S Coupé can sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 191 mph, with power delivered to the wheels through an eight-speed Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK).

Porsche has made considerable enhancements to the standard features in the Carrera S, including staggered tire fitment with 20/21-inch Carrera S wheels, a sports exhaust system with silver tailpipes, and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), which is not available on the Carrera. The newly developed brake system offers a notable improvement in driving dynamics. Borrowed from the 911 Carrera GTS, it comes standard with striking red brake calipers and discs measuring 408 millimeters in the front and 380 mm in the rear, providing exceptional deceleration performance.

The high standards of quality and exclusivity in the Carrera S are clearly reflected in its interior. It features a standard leather package in Black, with smooth-finish leather adorning the seats, headrests, dashboard, door panels, and the optional rear seat system in the Coupé. Like the other Carrera models, the folding rear seats can be selected at no extra cost, providing an alternative to the standard two-seater configuration. The Cabriolet version is equipped with a rear seat system as well.

The new 911 Carrera S is available for order in both Coupé and Cabriolet versions with rear-wheel drive. For more details, please consult your Isringhausen Porsche client advisor.
