Isringhausen Porsche proudly presents a meticulously restored 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7, the legendary model that introduced the RS (Racing Sport) designation. In 2004, this exceptional vehicle returned to its birthplace—the Porsche Classic Department at Werk 1 in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen—for an exhaustive factory restoration. Every component was carefully examined and restored to its original pristine condition, including the matching engine and gearbox.
Finished in classic White with red wheels and script, this Carrera RS comes with extensive documentation, including restoration photos, a Porsche press release, a letter from the Classic Center, a certification plaque, and even a commemorative Luxemburg postal stamp. Its complete history from 1973 to the present is preserved.
Driven just 2,563 miles since its restoration in 2006, the car remained with its dedicated owner until our acquisition in June 2024. Now showcased in our showroom, it is accompanied by articles from Christophorus and Porsche Club magazines that highlight its rare restoration and devoted former owner.
We believe this is the only Carrera RS to undergo a full restoration at the Porsche Classic Center in Stuttgart, making it a rare and coveted masterpiece for passionate collectors.
